Pear lime cake
This is a typical cake for a good breakfast, o a sweet tea time durign the day. It’s confortable food, it’s usuful to use fruits in the fridge that nobody want to eat more, and it’snt a heavy cake, that it’s good for our health. Try to make it and tell me if you like it!
Ingredients: 2 pears, 150 gr. sugar, 200 gr. flour, 2 eggs, 30 gr. extra vergine oil, 1 1/2 limes, 10 gr baking powder (or cream of tartar), 1 tbs cinnamon. [Convertions]
Peel and cut pears into little pieces. Weat with the half lime juice to not becoming black pears. Then put pears and 50 gr. of sugar in a pan to caramel fruits. After about 10 minuts, add cinnamon, mix, turn off gas and leave to cool. Whip eggs with the other sugar, add flour slowly, baking powder, oil and juice remain lime. Mix together. Use to bake a cake tin, with a zip. Wet with oil a baking sheet, put in the cake tin, pour the liquid and then pears. Bake for about 25 minuts, in a hot oven (180°). Enjoy!
